First virtual Embassies and CoE Building opened

On 7 May 2008, Slovakia and Sweden opened the first virtual embassies in the E-city of Kometa. The European Palace, the main building of the Council of Europe, opened on the same day. Inauguration festivities took place in Strasbourg, and were attended by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and the foreign ministers of Slovakia and Sweden.
